Last week there were 16 blocks on the wall ...
... et voila!
It's exciting when you get to the finished quilt top stage, don't you agree?
Love this eclectic collection of fabrics and colour,
all (except the Kaffe spot) from my scrap/stash baskets
quilt top measures 62" x 62"
And I'm happy to announce that I now have an amazing collection of quilt tops all waiting to become quilts
So many things to make, so little time,
Linda
What a gorgeous quilt top!! Great piecing skills.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations.
I love the variety of fabrics you used and how different each of the blocks look. The dotted sashing is perfect.
ReplyDeletethe dotted sashing finishes it off perfectly - looks great
ReplyDeleteThe dots are something I'd have never considered but they are genius! Love this one!
ReplyDeleteIsn't that gorgeous! I enjoyed seeing each block as you made them, but the finished top with the dotted sashing and gold cornerstones is fantastic!
ReplyDeletePretty blocks, the polka dot sashing is an unexpected fabric that works so well.
ReplyDeleteHow fabulous! Choosing a favorite block from this quilt is like choosing a favorite child, if you had 24 of them. Congrats on your winning streak of finishes!
ReplyDeleteI DO agree! Completing a quilt top is a great feeling. Congrats on your beautiful achievement. Those blocks look as though they were very labor-intensive, and each one is so very pretty. You seemingly made quick work of this big project.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see the blocks together.
ReplyDeleteThe black and white spots in the sashing looks just right!
I really like the sashing and cornerstone choices you made for this project! Yes, it’s so nice to get a flimsy completed - it really starts to feel like a quilt at that point to me.
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing...what a quilter you are!!
