finishes for 2025

Can't believe it's the end of the year.
Here's a quick review of my finished *quilts for 2025.

Boardwalk quilt
- my favourite finish!

Vintage Diamonds quilt

 Farm & Folk Sampler quilt
- a sampler quilt was so not on my radar, but I really enjoyed making this one!

16-patch & Sawtooth Star combo quilt

Marjorie quilt

Le Moyne Star quilt

Star hollow & 9-patch quilt

Checkered Garden quilt no.2

It was fun looking back over the year, I certainly started more than I finished!
Looking forward now to more quilting in 2026.
Thank you to everyone who reads my blog and for all the encouragement throughout the year!
Wishing you all a very happy New Year.

  6. Boardwalk is absolutely delightful, a true treasure. I wish I could have participated in the Farm and Folk Sampler. I found it late in the game, your quilt turned out so satisfying.

  10. Lovely, Linda. Just lovely! I can see why Boardwalk would be your favorite finish, though I'm partial to Vintage Diamonds. Seeing your quilts all together makes me smile, not only because they're pretty, but because you definitely have a favorite color palette. I have yet to see you put together a quilt with dark values - though believe me, that wouldn't be my favorite either! I'm just noticing how you lean toward soft and light, in a beautiful way. Your 2025 finishes are beautiful, and I hope your start into 2026 is also full of beauty.

  11. So many lovely projects!! I’m still very partial to your Vintage Diamonds. I love that one. I’ve been working on my HST Gypsy Child quilt again. I have so many leftover HSTs I was thinking of making a star & 16 patch quilt because I was thinking of the Star Hollow & 9 patch. Looking at yours, I can see it’s a good idea! Happy New Year! Thanks for all the sharing and encouragement this year. I look forward to what you do next.
