ReplyDeleteThank you so much!I’ve used a real mixture of old & new fabrics, and did quite a bit of fussy cutting! I had a little panic moment when it was all looking a bit too chaotic, but I’m really pleased with how it all turned out in the end!

ReplyDeleteThank you LeeAnn! Yes, I found the pairing up of fabrics took quite a bit of time & consideration, had to rummage deep into the stash a couple of times! And the fussy cutting, while it chomps through the fabric alarmingly quickly, it certainly paid off. I love the finished effect!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on a lovely finish. I love the movement this design gets and your fabric choices really make the most of that. You have also managed the scrappy look beautifully - lots of variety but well balanced at the same time. It's great.
ReplyDeleteIt's love at first sight for me and this quilt. How you managed to combine these seemingly different fabrics into a gorgeous quilt... There's just one thing, though, the dots don't seemed to be all lined up... (just kidding). And I love the pictures with your beautiful antique sewing machine.
