I've made some progress on my latest WiP this week,
a simple row-by-row pretty quilt, 'auntbets' quilt by Jo from frankieandray
2 rows of 1/4 log cabins, tick
4 rows of simple patched pieces of fabric, tick
et voila!
Lots of scrappy fabrics from my stash, including AMH, Denyse Schmidt,
'fresh cut' Basic Grey, some C&S
- along with a special piece of feed sack fabric and just a little bit of Liberty
I love this sweet mix of fabric
... and now it joins the 'to be quilted' queue!

Yea for getting a top done. It looks fresh and springy. Maybe it will be quilted when spring comes around again.
A beautiful top Linda and always good to create a beautiful quilt using your scraps.
Charming! It is a sweet batch of fabric. Love the pops of red too.
Lovely idea to use scraps and these charming block designs in a row by row quilt. I look forward to seeing it quilted. It will be so snuggly.
Just wonderful scrappy goodness! Thanks for linking to Finished or not Friday!
Your quilt top is so pretty!!
Very very pretty! Looks really good so far. I must do a bit more stash-busting myself.
Yes, that little bit of red is perfect. Love the scrappy goodness to this and the light 'airy' feeling!
Thank you Myra!
...off now to tidy up my sewing room after all that scrappy chopping up!
Thanks Jen.
Feeling very virtuous now after using up all those yummy scraps!
Thank you Ariane!
I’ve just recently stumbled across Jo’s ig posts with her quilt, and love the way my mix of colours and style of fabrics just seemed to work too.
Thanks for linking up with AHIQ. I've never tried a row by row quilt but this makes me want to try - love all the pretty fabrics and this approach is perfect for the scraps. This looks like the perfect quilt to snuggle up under.
You seem to fly through you projects, but I can see why, this one looks like it was a lot of fun to sew and see come together. Your choice of fabrics give it such a lovely vintage look.
Thanks Rachael!
Yes, I really enjoyed making this, simple + wonky + lovely fabrics... who could ask for more :)
Yay! It looks fabulous, well done you!
Such a pretty scrap quilt! Congrats on the finished flimsy.
Awww... Such a sweet and cuddly quilt! I hope it makes it to the front of the queue soon!
Definitely a pretty scrap quilt! I love the way you mixed the blocks and fabrics - and the way the red pieces pop out every now and then!
So many lovely floral fabrics! It is such a wonderful quilt! Thanks for sharing it with Oh Scrap!
Lovely choice of florals and pastels. Interesting design.
So many pretty fabrics in fresh colors, and so easy to put together. A lovely quilt top.
