Oh, I know what you mean. I have a little collection them. I worry there won't be any whole table cloths left because they have become fashionable to cut up and repurpose.
ReplyDeleteOh, yes, I have exactly the same problem. Those old beauties beg to be showcased but they make it difficult to cut into them. I don't think I could do. I've seen several quilts cut from old handkerchiefs, embroidered dressers scarves, and/or both. They get lost amongst the other beautiful vintage fabric contemporary to the old linens. I think they somehow need a perfect showcase, but I can never decide what it is.
