I decided to follow along with Amanda Jean's #junequiltqal over here at crazymomquilts,
Such a fun easy quiltalong
I hope this quilt will inspire you to cut through some of your own stash too
My 'pinksquared' quilt top measures about 130cms x 175cms or so. I decided to use a limited colour palette, featuring Les Fleurs rose tapestry, rifle paper for Cotton & Steel for the larger squares and a cute fabric from Andover Fabrics, Lizzy House for the smaller filler squares. I added in lots of low volume basics like spots & stripes & florals in a variety of scale.
There were also a few special novelty prints along with a few suprise contrasting 'pops' of colour to add some movement. All ready now for basting & quilting.
a bit more # 63
Just to give you all the heads up -
