flowers on pink

Back to playing with fabrics today.
I've wanted to make a 'sunflower' quilt for ages,
something between Cathy's 'sunflowers' here and Judy Newman's 'sugar plum' quilt here.
Yep, I think this might work . . .

  1. I do like these blocks Linda, they go so well with your soft pink background fabric. How many blocks?

  2. Great looking blocks. They really "pop" on the soft pink background fabric.

  5. Great fabrics, wonderful plan! The sunflowers fit our weather so well. February is supposed to be the coldest Wintermonth, but it is the warmest in history. It will be 18oC today.... It’s scary, the whole global warming stuff and the drought!

  9. I always struggle to add yellow into my stash... it is just not my go to colour. Although I have very little purple but I'm not sure why??
