Super excited to be piecing these 9patches, 4patches & little 16patches, it's wonderful seeing them all mixed up together! I'm making my version of a vintage quilt from Roderick Kiracofe's book "unconventional and unexpected", see here for more details. Also inspired by Chris' recent work over at afullenglish
It's growing super fast and I'm keen to keep on keeping on now
… and am very excited to see where I end up!
Linking up with Cyndy for 'oh scrap' here
Oh it's just terrific! Love everything about it - the cheerful randomness.
ReplyDeleteLove how your blue and white 16 patches for example have those little rogue squares.
Oh my gosh, this stopped me in my tracks. I LOVE it ❤️❤️
ReplyDeleteI especially love that you’ve used checks and gingham. Yum!
DeleteOh my gosh! You are a life saver! I have lots of gingham I've been collecting and it's now time to use them up. AND I have florals. This is it! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteOOOOOH I like all that scrappy goodness and the different borders!
ReplyDeleteOh what fun! I especially like all the gingham!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to combine different sizes of Patches blocks. The b/w check and posy fabric combination is stunning.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures speak a thousand words. Oh yes, you can sure be "super-excited" about these fabric combos and how the blocks are sitting together. It's just plain fun to play with design, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThis is a great start. Always love 9 patches.
ReplyDeleteGrowing beautifully Linda, this is one exciting quilt in the making with all the mix of fabrics.
ReplyDeleteOh, this is just yummy looking! Loving the solid lt blue and black print blocks especially. Really makes it all look so interesting!
