Having made two other larger TAW quilts before, I'm happy with this nice throw size. I really just wanted an excuse to "shop my stash" and play sew!
Hm-m-m-m- {wink wink} the scrap baskets are still very full though!
Linking up with Cyndy for 'oh scrap' here.
Off now to tidy up the sewing room, Linda
Very pretty finish--I like the softer colors in this one...

I need to make a quilt for a bay girl (actually, she's a toddler now) and this gives me an idea for one. Yours has a nice, soft, feminine look.

Lovely photography with the quilt in the mirror. This turned out very nice and it looks like it was all fun fun fun.
ReplyDeleteThe turquoise is beautiful and 'ties' the colors together perfect.
ReplyDeleteGreat piecing and finish.
The mirrored reflection is lovely, as is the quilt itself. Congrats on using what's at hand.
ReplyDeleteI like the turquoise/green effect. It shows up well in this light quilt.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, a real faded summer looking quilt. Do our scrap bins actually ever get any lower?
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, has a lovely vintage look to it, almost makes me want to start another quilt, but I will resist.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty top, I mean really gorgeously pretty. It sort of reminds me of sea and sky. With some flowers mixed in. Love it!
ReplyDeleteInspired idea to set the quilt in a good position to reflect perfectly in the mirror! Love how you've been consistent with the different shade of aqua/turquoise for the centre diagonals.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful quilt to use up scraps! Really love it!
ReplyDeleteThe scrap bin never really goes away does it? Love your beautifully scrappy top. Gorgeous blending of colors and fabric!
ReplyDeleteYour flimsy looks great and I especially like the photo of the reflection in the mirror.
