Well, that was fun!
Super happy with this pretty + pink colour story!
using a very pretty bundle of vintage blooms, "Posy" FQ's by Annabel Wrigley.
I chose an old favourite of mine, the "bear paw" block,
loving this scrappy spin on a classic block.
Finished quilt top measures 56" x 54"
Linking up with Kelly for NNT here
Until next time, Linda
The neutral border looks so good with the blocks.
ReplyDeleteIt's such a fun pretty quilt top! The variety of prints is great.
ReplyDeleteI really like the scrappiness of this!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it was super fun! Such a great looking quilt. Simple but so, so sweet.:)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your freshly finished quilt top and I absolutely LOVE your new header photo with the New York Beauty top!!!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. Love the pieced soft greys for the border, sets off the blocks nicely.
ReplyDeleteI just love these blocks and how they work together. Wonderful scrappiness.
ReplyDeleteSoft and Subtle and oh so Sweet. They will make a darling quilt.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely top. And I do also like the border fabrics. Just right!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your finish! I LOVE this quilt. Such soft and lovely florals.
ReplyDeleteHow nice that you've finished your quilt top! It looks good! When I reach this point, as good as it feels, I know that only half the quilt is done. It's the quilting that can take longer than piecing the quilt. I hope you have a good plan for that, and will enjoy the next step in the quiltmaking process.
ReplyDeletePretty quilt top!!! I love all the floral fun going on! BTW, what is the meaning of your blog? Koka--just wondering...
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty quilt, beautifully fresh and clear looking.
