vintage blooms

Well, that was fun!
Super happy with this pretty + pink colour story!
using a very pretty bundle of vintage blooms, "Posy" FQ's by Annabel Wrigley.
I chose an old favourite of mine, the "bear paw" block,
loving this scrappy spin on a classic block.
{and I'm using the free pattern from the Fat Quarter Shop, follow link here}.
Finished quilt top measures 56" x 54"
Linking up with Kelly for NNT here

Until next time, Linda

  6. Very pretty. Love the pieced soft greys for the border, sets off the blocks nicely.

  11. How nice that you've finished your quilt top! It looks good! When I reach this point, as good as it feels, I know that only half the quilt is done. It's the quilting that can take longer than piecing the quilt. I hope you have a good plan for that, and will enjoy the next step in the quiltmaking process.
