  6. The best use of scraps - just so cheerful and pretty. Good idea, the sashing. I don't think I would have noticed, but it calms the chaos a little. Great quilt top!

  8. I get such a kick out of seeing your scrappy quilts! While I completely agree that you're putting together scrappy, your scraps have a completely different feel/aestheic to them than I'm accustomed to seeing. I mean, your scraps are cohesive. Soft colors. Florals. Subdued. My scraps are discordant. Bold. Bright. In-your-face. :-) It's just another reason to love the term "scrap" - a different look for each of us, and that's a beautiful thing.
