I've continued with more colour play this weekend, making extra blocks for my limingtonquilt, a modern spin on Trip Around the World, TATW. I used a pattern from @seaminglykate.
Obviously, I still have three more blocks to go - see last pic - but I'm loving this mix of scrappy and set colours. I'm going with blue, green and purple prints, mainly mediums & darks, against a background of assorted "lights". My accent fabric Hindsight in piecework rose is by Anna Maria, super happy with the peachy-pink chain. Here's a few progress pics ...
... luckily it was a quick fix✅
Another quilt top almost finished!

This design is beautiful! I noticed the block turned the wrong way, I thought perhaps it was a design element? Happy stitching!
I love the peachy-pink chain with the other colors.
Beautiful progress, thanks for sharing.
The peachy pink chain compliments your squares perfectly!
Don’t ya love a whoops-a-daisy? There’s nothing like looking at a picture to see an error that you didn’t notice with your naked eye. Your colors are, as always, very pretty. Those rosy tones make the fabric combo work beautifully together. This quilt design is so you, Linda. Keep enjoying the process… and those beloved whoops-a-daisies.
That's a really pretty design, Linda! I like the colors you've chosen, too. This version of a TATW is really appealing with that chain running through!
Lovely progress. i really like that connecting pink chain, regardless of the hiccup.
