Happy Wednesday everyone!
Here in NZ we are about 1/3 way through winter. It's been wet, and windy, and cold, we've had our fire going 24/7 these past few days. Finally saw the sun briefly over the weekend, but it's gone again now! I popped up to the village this morning though, and brought back a little bit of happy colour with me . . .
I'm slowly adding to my scrappy mish-mash collection of 'sawtooth star' blocks
Loving these simple shapes & lots of random colour surprises . . .

time now for another fortnightly 'Sew, Stitch, Snap, SHARE' linkup
There were lots of inspiring projects shared last time around.
These 'smitten' blocks made by Rose from somethingrosemade caught my eye

Love your spring bouquet, I have some poppies flowering which I should bring in before they get ruined by the next of of bad weather. Definitely lots of colour in your star blocks. Some lovely florals there too.
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me a little of the blended look that was so popular in the late 80's, early 90's--but so much bolder! It's a very carefree, happy look!
ReplyDeleteYou are making great progress on your blocks. You have the prettiest stash of floral fabrics!
ReplyDeleteThe spring bouquet is a ray of sunshine! The weather on the weekend was magic! Your saw tooth star blocks are coming along nicely. Roses' fussy cut blocks look interesting, off to have a look!

ReplyDeleteFlowers do brighten the day up and bring in some sunshine!
The more of these stars you do, the better it all looks.

ReplyDeleteLove your fabric mash ups and seeing all the different fabrics you have in your stash. It just makes me want to stock up on some AMH prints which I never seem to buy until I see it on someone's quilt. Thanks for the inspiration.
