I used the 'wagon wheels' quilt pattern from Kaffe's book 'Quilts in Italy'

This is so lovely. I love the way you can put pretty colours together in a interesting, not twee, way.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sue. I had lots of fun mix and mismatching the fabrics for this one. If you look closely at the blocks, there are a few little patterns happening that help your eye unscramble things, hopefully :)
DeleteThe border fabric is gorgeous, Linda.
ReplyDeleteYour last photo is beautiful with the lighting from behind.
Hello, it´s the book: Quilts in Italy.
ReplyDeleteAh yes, you are right. Thank you.
DeleteAbsolutely lovely! Such pretty feminine colours. Love that border fabric. Another gorgeous quilt for your bed.
ReplyDeleteDelicious, like peppermint candies without the Christmas colors. I love the border fabric and think I may even have some of it, but sadly, not enough to do a border.
