The past couple of weeks I've enjoyed lots of time to sew without worrying about sharing anything, so this post is a bit of a catch-up. I'm right in the middle of multi project tasking, using up lots of little scraps, which of course = a messy sewing room!
Pictured here is what I’m currently working on: a new start, a finished quilt top, and I'm collecting fabric & planning the beginnings for another quilt, and lastly, a fabric stack.
✂️And here we I go again, many scrappy trips around the world ...
fabric collection: my stash
I’m just playing up on the design wall, as my ✂️meanwhile, from design wall to finished quilt top
This is my limingtonquilt, a modern spin on a Trip Around the World quilt ...
quilty details:
Limington quilt, pattern by seaminglykate
Fabrics: My recipe was simple - scrappy light backgrounds + a selection of similar valued prints + one accent fabric. I've downsized it a bit, going for a throw-sized quilt.

✂️ a few progress pics of a new WiP
I need a bright, pretty quilt for a special little someone. It's getting a bit tight with some of my leftover pieces, so I am having to join a few strips to get the required length, but it's all ok. ✂️and a last bit of brightness for you this week
No plans for these fabrics. Yet ...
lots of little scraps, big possibilities
until next time, Linda

I love all the bright fabrics, so happy! The limingtonquilt is beautiful, you are so cool with colors. Happy stitching!
My goodness...you certainly have been busy. Beautiful quilts and such luscious fabrics! Have fun!
that quilt top looks good with the rose color chain
Such a variety of fabrics and projects, but the Limington quilt really caught my attention. It looks beautiful on the bed and when I clicked the link... Uh oh... Even more ideas!
Lovely to take time to just sew. Keep it going.
This Trip around the world top looks delightful. And I really like the brights you are playing with.
How lovely! Gorgeous quilts are in the works. I love the gingham center of your Courthouse Steps blocks. Being realistic though... let's see that "messy sewing room." We all love pictures of pretty quilts, but it's the messy process that makes us all feel better about the condition of our own sewing rooms. Do tell!
So much loveliness! I love the shimmer of the pink chains in your Limington quilt.
Your scrappy trips around the world top pic is a beauty - how small are the smallest squares in your Limington quilt Linda?
Love the log cabin squares you've put on the post - are you intended to continue? Delight to see your collection of fabrics all ready to go, nothing lifts the spirits more than a burst of colour.
