my friday favourites #9

Here's my pick for this weeks Friday favourites- it's bound to brighten up your day too

Love this colourful project in my latest Quilters Companion magazine
'pickled fish' by Chris Jurd...

Love baking with Olive
gingerbread men, and flowers and fish oh my...

Love all the recent yarnbombing action up in the village...

What are you loving this week?

  1. I've been seeing that pickled fish pop up a lot in IG land, hopefully I can still find a copy of that magazine for the pattern. My grandparents used to have a whole dinner set that matched your cup and saucer. Brings back lots of memories.

  2. Well, I'm now loving that cover quilt! I've been collecting circle/pickle patterns for a while, wanting to do a circle/arced quilt - this may just be the one! I'll have to see if I can find that magazine...

    1. Yes, it’s a wonderful scrappy quilt!
And I’ve just watched the DVD that came with the magazine, it’s very informative. Just like having your own personal tutor!

  3. I love color. Quilts, cookies, cups, clothing (even for trees.)

  4. Enjoying sewing again and going to the first meetings of the 2 Patchwork Groups I belong to here in NZ.

  5. lots of wonderful colour to brighten up the morning - it's -3C and freezing fog here today :(

  6. Love the yarn bombing! Very colorful, very fun.
