I'm really enjoying seeing how this restful pale palette develops
- I'm usually all bright & bold with my colour selection so this is quite a change for me
Loving putting these low volumes and pretty florals together

Oh this looking beautiful Linda. I love the pops of colour here and there on the neutrals, you're going to have a really special quilt at the end of the QAL.
I too am enjoying the progress on this low volume quilt. I just love low volume scrappy.
I like the mix of blocks that you have but for some reason the strip of Flying Geese really catch my eye (that's good :) not bad) - that is going to really add some interest at some point when you get it all together I think -
I agree this is more understated than many of your projects, but it still seems to fit well with your style and there is something particularly appealing about the combination of low volume fabrics with touches of bright floral.
These blocks are looking lovely! I like the combination of embroidery with the pieced blocks. Very nostalgic, peaceful effect.
Gosh, this is really going to be beautiful, Linda. I'm very interested to see where it will end up!
really mellow and pretty.
I have been so intrigued by this quilt Linda. I am not always drawn to pastels and quilts in low volumes but this one has so many fun details, it is fun to look at. Thanks for sharing with Oh Scrap!
The colors, or lack of, are so charming. I love that wherever they are particularly "low volume" you've added lovely details of embroidery, lace, etc. This will be a treasure. Thanks for sharing.
The pops of bright color here and there are so fun with the low volume backgrounds! I'm enjoying seeing what you add each time you share it with us.
I love the low volume background, so romantic.
Your hand embroidery is beautiful.
The arrangement on the table and the individual photos above that are
'eye candy' for sure.
