It’s December! Get ready guys, you are about to see lots of 9patch grids all over Instagram, with everyone sharing their Top Nine collages with their best nine Instagram pics for 2020, about anything and everything!
Blogging & Instagram have been a great source of inspiration & friendship for me during this {very crazy} year. I have loved sharing, & learning, & trying new patterns out, and I've found the quilting community are so very generous with their thoughts, tips & techniques.
My top nine popular pics are just a little snapshot of my quilty 2020 year. It has certainly been a year where I have faffed about, had spurts of sewing and then nothing- absolute zilch - for weeks on end. However, it's still interesting {read surprising} to see which pics got the most interest.

I absolutely love the colorful vibrant look of your quilts. They just look fun but also substantive. I've been the same.... sometimes not doing much.... it's the COVID stress of this year I think. Here's to a better 2021!
a lot of quilts - so colorful and used with scraps
Noticed your nine patch grid on Instagram, I still haven't actually worked out how to do this simple task, possibly next year! Amazing collection of finished quilts, tops and works in progress, and don't we all have a lot of these!
Beautiful finishes! I appreciate your way with contrast and your Courthouse Steps and Nora Log Cabin are classics. Lots of inspiration here, thank you.
Great finishes and projects - despite all you’ve done well!!
What a treat to get another look as all your lovely projects. Let's hope 2021 is much better for the world.
It's always so surprising which quilts garner the most interest. It's rarely the ones we think will! You do such lovely, lovely work. Always a pleasure to come see your latest quilt project!:)
Oh yes, the Top Nine has become an annual tradition, hasn't it? I'm sure you enjoy seeing what people like the most, and scratch your head - as I do sometimes - about the pictures they like the most. Your assortment of pieces is lovely, so I think your followers have great taste! Nice to see that a combo of your finishes and WIPs are in there. More to strive for in 2021, right? I think that using scraps and scrap quilts are never out of style. Happily our Central Florida MQG chapter's 2021 challenge is to make a modern quilt from scraps. I can't think of a better way to help members keep scraps under control... well, under a little bit of control, anyway.
You've had a busy year Linda, lots of starts and finishes, and always colour.
They are all so lovely. Great to look back over the year at all yo have achieved.
