scrappy old maid's puzzle quilt top

36 blocks done✅
Check there's enough grey C & S for sashing✅
Super happy about turning my scraps into a finish✅

- shuffling blocks & trialing sashing

- checking my values

Until next time, Linda

That turned out really well, great neutral sashing and wonderful to use up scraps.

Lovely. It does have a soft appearance. Look at all those scraps being used!

Beautiful! And the sashing is perfect because you don't even see it.

And it is such a great finish! You have a great group of scraps to choose from.

Congratulations on your quilt top finish! The sashing is a super addition emphasizing a star within a star secondary design.

The best use of scraps - just so cheerful and pretty. Good idea, the sashing. I don't think I would have noticed, but it calms the chaos a little. Great quilt top!

I get such a kick out of seeing your scrappy quilts! While I completely agree that you're putting together scrappy, your scraps have a completely different feel/aestheic to them than I'm accustomed to seeing. I mean, your scraps are cohesive. Soft colors. Florals. Subdued. My scraps are discordant. Bold. Bright. In-your-face. :-) It's just another reason to love the term "scrap" - a different look for each of us, and that's a beautiful thing.
