Just for a change...
I opted for some hand sewing today rather than machine
I began making up the hexi section of my Green Tea & Sweet Beans quilt
Enjoying each step of the process
piecing teeny tiny seams
sifting through my fabric scraps
again
and again
Taking my time
feet up
loving the sunshine
Such a lovely way
to spend a quiet sunny Sunday afternoon!
et voila, one hexi panel - done!
Linking up this week here for 'slow Sunday stitching' and 'oh scrap' here
And here's all the blocks for my GT&SB project so far.

I love your panel of hexies! The whole quilt is going to be amazing!
i love your GT&SB the colors are super; I noticed the little hexie holder you have--so cute--did you make it??

I love how this is coming together. Thanks for sharing with Oh Scrap!
I love the colours and fabrics in your quilt!!!
I don't know which I'm more envious of, that you have 'actual' sunshine or all these sunny fabrics to play with! It's going to be a wonderful quilt :)
Love those hexis!!
Your GT&SB quilt is growing steadily with lovely blocks. The hexies are a delight - but small!
I like this quilt design and yours is going to be just beautiful; your fabrics have a lovely look, sweet and old-fashioned, just right.
What a sweet collection of hexies. Lovely work!
Lovely photos of a wonderful stitching time :)
Your quilt is coming along great!
Thanks for linking up to Slow Sunday Stitching
Thank you Kaja! I’m really enjoying having something like this to pick up now & then. Each little block finished is very cute, and it’s lovely watching it all slowly grow! Tempted to just keep going, even though I’d planned for this to be a ‘slow burning’ project! Linda
Thank you Kathy! I’m really enjoying this!
It’s great to have something I can pick up easily now & then. I seem to have got into a pattern of finishing one cute little block, and then prepping for the next one so it’s all ready next time I get the chance to sit & sew. Linda
Such lovely photos of a lovely process!
I first thought you were making a scrappy hexagon quilt like I am attempting, but see that it's just part of a larger quilt. Quite an interesting quilt too.
Aww, I love this look! You keep making these Kingwell, Doughty, and Fielke quilts, and I love every single one. Thank you, thank you!!
...and thank you too, for stopping by and leaving such lovely encouraging comments! L
