pink² {a WiP}

One of the best kinds of sewing is the spontaneous, unplanned kind, don't you think?

Earlier in the week I spotted the #junequiltqal over here at crazymomquilts
And again, this was so not on my 'to do' list, but I kept checking up on everyone's progress
and yesterday, I thought I'd have a bit of colour play too on a rainy day . . .
you know, just to see . . .

I seem to be a bit stuck on making little quilts lately but that's ok
Pat-next-door is going to be a great grandmother in October, and requested a 'pink' quilt
so I'm hoping my 'pinksquared' quilt will fit the bill.

Linking up with Myra over here for 'finished or not Friday'
and with Cynthia for 'oh scrap' here

This quilt is reminding me of sherbet. (Might have to make a quick run to the store now...)

This is so pretty, you have the perfect pinks for the squares. I'm also doing this QAL plus another quilt in the book which was decided when I was cleaning up the studio--just like you, this is spontaneous and unplanned.

Lovely pinks! Nothing better than doing something just because you fancy it.

LIKE the neutrals against that wonderful pink print. Fun interpretation of her design. Good for you for doing an impromptu project.

Love your fabric and color choices. I hope to cut up the last bit of fabric for my quilt today. I love how these quilts in this QAL all look so different!

This quilt in progress is delightful. As I am seeing them posted I am thinking I may need to hop on the band wagon too.

Thanks Janie.
Yes, all very pinkilicious isn’t it? And so very easy to put together!
I’m enjoying seeing all the other different versions around too!
