finally finished

This quilt was probably one of my oldest unfinished projects. It was lurking in the depths of the wardrobe for ages and resurfaced after the "big move". I started it way back in 2007 following a Kaffe class and now it's finally finished! I used Kaffe's 'snowball' pattern, he's made a few versions thru'out his many books. I had it professionally quilted in an all-over scroll pattern. Finished quilt measures approx. 63" x 52". All bound now & off to it's new home . . .

Looks good, pink was the perfect colour for the binding. How many more unfinished wips do you have hidden away?

Nice use of contrast.
The Kaffe stripes and florals are always fun.

Well done for finishing the Kaffe quilt. It must have been a lovely discovery for you when you were emptying cupboards and drawers ready for The Move. Hope you have settled into your new home.

You were so right to take the brown border fabric off! What a wonderful finish and so sparky looking now!

Great finish! I love the picture of the four corners. I bet it feels good to have it done and out of the way.

Smashing finish Linda! The loss of the brown border has worked beautifully.

Awesome finish. It's great to get some of those old projects done, and makes some of the newer projects a little bit more guilt free!

What a beautiful regular tiling/snowball blended with a row quilt. I'm so glad you finished this. Isn't it wonderful when an older set of fabric really looks great? Congratulations.

Great finish. Sometimes finishing older projects is more rewarding.
