I'm finding all sorts of treasures in my scrap basket,
colourful scraps all pulled from my stash.
All waiting patiently just for this moment ... for me to pick them & start sewing
lots of leftovers
sorted into a nice combo and jammed into my scrap basket ...
- loving the contrast of this itty-bitty Denyse Schmidt print with an early Laura Ashley floral
- and that's the last of this OOP pretty pink delicate Kaffe stripe :(
and so I did!
Hope you've enjoyed this little peek into the treasures I'm rediscovering in my scrap basket
It's a real mix, including early Laura Ashley florals, a delightful kokka blue & white, OOP Kaffe, Heather Ross, AMH, Liberty, & Denyse Schmidt
... oh, and some recent RSS blenders.

Oh my! What treasures they are. Love the colour combinations and mix of styles.
great use for what is in the scrapbag!
Oh my! This is a beautiful quilt and perfect as an alternative to the grey days around here.
Love your blocks. What size are they?
This is so inspiring, Linda. Your quilt top looking so beautiful!
What is it about pink and red together with some nice bright blues? So lovely!:)
Definitely you've uncovered some beauties from your scrap basket and the nine patch and stars laid out are looking so good.
They're all very pretty! I understand being able to make Nine Patch blocks from scraps, but I wouldn't have enough fabric in a scrap bin to make the star blocks you showed. Those matching pieces for background/corners wouldn't be in my scrap bin. You have very healthy scraps!
