quilts across the ranges

I  spent the morning at the 'Quilts Across The Ranges' quilt show today,
the Western Quilters Circle Annual Quilt Show here in Auckland NZ.
It's always nice to see what others are making
and so great to catch up with quilters I hadn't seen for a while . . .

Sandra and her team from 'House of Patchwork' were there
with a pretty display of their latest Tilda fabrics . . .

and Cheryl from 'all things patchwork' had a colourful display . . .

and Kerryn from the country yard up near Whangarei had a great display too . . .

I'll leave you with a few pics of my favourites from the show . . .

Quilt shows are always a treat, and this one seems especially good. I've been saving my husbands shirts but want to add some others. It strikes me how different the fabrics we wear are from the fabrics we purchase new for quilts.

As I read through your post and saw all those wonderful quilts, inside I was just saying "Oooooh" over and over again! Absolutely magnificent: the ideas, the execution, the amount of quilts entered by just one quilter, Sue Hagan.
I noted her Blue log cabin quilt made from 2nd hand fabrics was 60th in a series! 60!!!! What a great show to have attended. Lucky girl, Linda 😊 "Succulent" appealed to me as well. Gorgeous!
