Last week I was busy trying to blend a great mish-mash of colour together
and went right off track {you can read all about that here!}

And this weekend I'm having another go, just before I tidy all those scrappy fabrics away
I'm using a free tutorial for these 10" sawtooth star blocks.
Amy from diaryofaquilter has made a great size chart for cutting these blocks here
- you can make them as little as 4" x 4" right up to 20" x 20"
My plan is to set them block to block - sans sashing this time!
. . . ah, now this is a bit more like what I had in mind!
and last week's version will do nicely as a donation quilt I'm sure.

These look wonderful!
Yes!!!!!!!
Definitely a yes! These are real scrappy stars and I spy a little of the new AMH fabric in there.
What a gorgeous set of fabrics you have in these, Linda! I think you're onto a good thing. :D
Thank you Monica.
It was just a little frustrating last week ... another ‘false start’ with this mish-mash idea... so glad I decided to have another go.
And am very happy now with how things are progressing.
Thanks for stopping by.
Love those saw tooth blocks. Great fabrics, lovely combinations of colours.
I just love your blend of fabrics! You are whetting my appetite. Yum!
Sharing more scrappy goodness I see. I really like those gray fabrics in there. Thanks for linking up with Oh Scrap!
The larger block size highlights your fabrics. And they have such a vintage feel.
There is nothing like a gorgeous scrappy. Well done.
This is a wonderful mish mash of scrappy lovelieness.
Those are pretty! I love the mellow greens!
Thanks Diann. These scrappy blocks remind me of something, but I just can’t quite put my finger on it! Maybe something from one of Gwen & Freddy’s books?
Simple shapes & lots of random colour surprises!
Love, love these blocks!!
Very fun and colorful scrappy stars. Glad it worked out this time.
Love it!
Very pretty Linda..I love how you play around with your fabrics :-)
Happy scrappy stars!
