every last piece

A little bit of  HST love this week up on the design wall.
... mixing up different fabric ranges
... placing many HST's randomly
... working on more of a value focus rather than colour (for a change!)
...trying to use up every last piece!
My inspiration came from combining a couple of ideas -
I love the scrappiness here and I love how you see flying geese, pinwheels, etc here
What are you busy sewing with scraps?

I think half square triangles are great for putting into loads of settings - like the one you have up there presently.

The scrappier, the better (is one of my personal quilting mottos). Your HSTs are so much fun...love the wide variety of fabrics, and how nicely the colours complement each other!

I have some HSTs from another project and you've given me an idea for using them. These scrappy HSTs are so pretty and bright, I love that you're looking at the value and saturation before deciding...it's definitely working!

Looks like you are having fun with it Linda! I have heaps of HST I've sewn as leaders/enders - not sure what to do with them - but doing this looks like a fun idea..!
