the norah quilt {a finished top}

The Norah Quilt
I joined in with the current Sewalong hosted by @sunnydaysupply
My giant log cabin style quilt is made up of lots of different width strips, from 2" - 4"
I added two more rounds today, bringing it up 58" square.
It's a real mix of fabrics from over the years
 in light-medium values
and I added in a darker {or brighter} fabric now & then to help with contrast.
Simple sewing & no maths to worry about!

 It’ll be a sweet quilt for a little someone, somewhere, someday!
Linking up with Kelly here @ myquiltinfatuation

Until next time, Linda

Oh yes you have a beautiful finish here Linda. I like that you've gone with wider strips in your version, machine quilted out at some point or will you hand quilt big stitch style?

I love the vintage sheet look about it. It's lovely. I admire how you use fabrics that I would never consider and they work.

What a fun looking quilt top! Your did a fabulous job of getting it to lay flat and square. This one must have really pulled you in as the top has been finished lickety-split!:)

I like the way it moves into the larger widths in the strips. Very effective and great result.

I like everything about how this quilt works! Your colors are sweet and welcoming. Is there a size you started the center with? Or did you just start?
